Much like Bob Ross’ famed painting tips, Cooler Master has adapted this to show off its multi-colored Cryofuze 5 thermal paste demo.
Cooler Master has found a creative way to market its CPU thermal paste: This has been done by using it to paint a mountain scene on a CPU.
Another piece of news came out through Cooler Master and includes a new video of the Cryofuze 5 thermal paste that the company released earlier this year. In general, you apply some pressure on the paste and spread it directly on the CPU and then again apply pressure on the top side by placing the cooler. This time, however, the PC component vendor applied the paste as a real painter would; with skill and precision.
In addition to having a superb thermal conductivity, the Cryofuze 5 provides you with the opportunity to choose between six rather vivid colours. What Cooler Master did to make the best out of this was to slightly squish the various colours of the paste onto a real palette.
An artist then used the palette to paint on a computer, an element enclosed in a casing and connected to a motherboard. The video speeds up to show the resulting artwork: a mountain which is surrounded by clouds, trees and grass. From the popular TV show by American painter Bob Ross after which the video clip used is named, the theme song plays at the end.
Of course, there is no practical use for applying art on a CPU that involves applying thermal paste since the art is covered underneath the cooler’s heatsink. However, as we have seen in the video below from Cooler Master, there is actually one practical application that can be made of selling thermal paste in multiple colors.
